Action Wall Ties has a long history of working with other organisations to complete structural repair projects. This includes public sector and commercial organisations including London boroughs, social housing providers, architects, contractors, project managers, local authorities and insurance companies.

We have completed many many projects with Homes for Islington (HFI). Our method was adopted for the structural repair of over thirty 1930s low rise blocks with a number of main contractors such as Murphy (Green), Kier, Mears Group PLC,  Mansel, Balfour Beatty, Breyer and Mulalley.

Action Wall Ties has also worked with East End Homes, a community-led social housing provider based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. For example, AWT worked on an estate of 1930s style low-rise blocks of apartments with defective balustrade walls. AWT’s remedial scheme included remedial restraint posts and removal of the existing reinforcing rebars.

Another London borough that AWT has partnered with is Southwark. We worked with the Southwark Council Investment Design Group and with Lengard Ltd. AWT provided cost effective structural repairs for 1970s low-rise blocks with defects in the balcony balustrade walls.

AWT has also worked on large infrastructure projects such as structural repairs to the Hanger Lane Underpass in North West London, part of London’s North Circular Road. AWT worked with Transport for London and Conway to provide a long term, cost effective repair to the failing parapets of the underpass.

AWT are an experienced team of structural repair specialists. We can partner with main contractors across London and the South-East of England. We have experience with high-rise blocks (including concrete frame and LPS defects), mid-rise blocks, low-rise blocks, housing estates, road and rail infrastructure as well as listed and heritage buildings.

Action Wall Ties has completed structural repair projects for many housing associations and social housing providers in London, Kent, Essex, Surrey and Sussex. Our structural repair works are designed to minimise disruption to residents while still providing a high quality, long-term repair.
